Move to Heal

Move to Heal SIBO & IBS

Nervous system retraining may be the missing piece to your healing journey. Monica utilizes various breathwork methods, energy healing, vagal nerve exercises, and frequency-minded music to help her clients “Move to Heal.”

What are the major causes of SIBO?

  • Poor diet
  • Chronic Stress
  • Lack of stomach acid and enzyme secretion
  • Brain Injury or Surgery
  • Autoimmune Conditions or Food Poisoning
  • Nervous System Dysfunction

Did you know you can address most of these issues with movement, breathwork & self-therapy?

The goal of Moving to Heal is to assist the body’s natural healing processes. We all live in an incredible vessel with a brain, heart, lungs, stomach, intestines, reproductive organs, liver, etc. Do we have to think about our heart beating for it to beat? Do we have to digest our food intentionally?

No, all physical processes are AUTOmatic. It is the responsibility of the AUTOnomic Nervous System to regulate, stimulate and activate the many systems like digestion, cardiovascular, lymphatic, and metabolism.

When we have a problem with the autonomic nervous system, we will experience dysfunction, especially gut dysfunction.

If we can support and stimulate the autonomic nervous system, we may facilitate digestive healing.

Another goal of Moving to Heal is to support and regulate the energetic systems of the body. Westerners tend to neglect their energetic system, which I did for most of my life because I was unaware of my biofield. When I started to enhance my awareness of the energy within and around my body I noticed a huge positive shift in my nervous system, digestion and emotional health.

Move to Heal sessions are a blend of evidence-based healing methods that bring optimal nervous system function and digestion but also energetic balance.

You may experience:

  • Reduced stress and anxiety by activating parts of the brain that signal safety (Vagual Nerve Stimulation)
  • Improved digestion by stimulating digestive secretion (stomach acid, enzymes, bile), parastalsis and the Migrating Motor Complex
  • Healing and releasing physical and emotional trauma
  • Breaking up scar tissue and addressing physical obstruction
  • Improved immune function through regulating body temperature and toning the vagus nerve

How will this heal your gut?

Along with dietary and supplement intervention, nervous system and energetic training or Moving to Heal can shift the environment of the intestines. Pathogens, opportunistic bacteria, parasites, yeast, and fungi thrive in inflammatory, tense, blocked, and poorly circulated environments. Moving to Heal can change these environments by increasing circulation and blood flow, releasing tension, opening blocked energetic channels, stimulating secretion, and returning the body to a functional and peaceful state. The idea is to support innate healing!

Physical obstruction, intestinal tension, nervous system dysfunction, and chronic stress contribute to gut dysfunction, IBS, and SIBO. While healing the gut holistically, we must not forget about the benefits of movement and self therapies. Practicing exercise and manipulation that activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System promotes circulation, warmth, and relaxation will bring balance to the body.

By practicing specific exercises and therapies, I not only have improved my gut health, but my chronic anxiety has dramatically reduced, and I feel deeply connected to my body.

Join me to explore unique movements like the Water Up, Fire Down method, QiGong, Vagus Nerve activation, spinal mobility and strength exercises that have help me. Prioritizing movement and self-therapy has changed my life, and I believe it can change yours too!
